What’s New for 2007?
• Approximately $9,000 in prizes
• This year we have expanded our weigh stations and registration sites to include
  locations throughout Hampton Roads and the Eastern Shore.
• The first 900 anglers to enter the tournament will receive a Daiichi bleeding bait
  circle hook sample pack. Quantities are limited, so enter today at any
  participating weigh station or registration site.
• As part of the tournament prize structure participating weigh stations and
  registration sites have provided gift certificates for winning anglers. These prizes
  will be listed as "Tournament Gift Certificates."

Largest Overall Fish
The angler who catches the overall largest striped bass during the tournament will also
receive an additional $1,000 Cabelas gift certificiate, a Custom Tops and Towers aluminum
bumper-mount rod rack (accommodates 6 rods and cooler), Hook & Tackle Outfitters
Tournament Shirt, Striper Lure Sets from Hopkins, Mann's, Swede's and Rogue Tackle. Last
year's top striper caught by Richard Hylton of Rileyville, VA weighed in at 51lbs. 5ozs.

Overall Monthly Structure
The five tournament anglers with the largest striped bass each month qualify for monthly prizes. The competition will be tough this year, with resident and non-resident anglers competing for the same prizes. All special divisions and events also qualify to "DOUBLE DIP" in this prize structure. Anglers can win prizes in a special division or event and still be eligible for additional prizes in the monthly prize structure with the same fish! Both adults and juniors are eligible to win in the overall monthly prize structure, as follows.

Jr. Division Monthly Structure
Anglers must be 16 years or younger to qualify for this division. Top anglers are also eligible to "DOUBLE DIP" in the overall monthly prize structure. Last year's top junior striper caught by Nicole Hite of Mechanicsville, VA weighed in at 41lbs. 7ozs.

In addition, the angler who catches the overall largest
jr. striper wins a $100 tournament gift certificate.

Long Bay Pointe Bait & Tackle
Women’s Division
Monthly Structure
Last year’s top women’s division striper caught by Lee Shuler of Virginia Beach, VA weighed in at 44lbs. 0ozs. This category has become one of the
event's most competitive.

In addition, the angler who catches the overall largest
women’s striper wins a $100 tournament gift certificate.

Crab Creek Outfitters
Fly Fishing Photo Division
Monthly Structure
Once again the tournament is offering a catch and release photo division especially for fly fisherman. The three tournament anglers with the largest striped bass each month qualify for the following monthly prizes. Simply take a photo of your catch (A ruler in view is preferable and provide a witness), develop your film, turn in your photo and register the total length and girth of your fish and other information at any participating weigh station. Fish registered in this division will not be required to have their witness present at the time of entry, but must provide the witnesses name and phone number.

Anglers may also register their catch by mail, however all mail-in entries must be received by the tournament office by December 5th and January 5th to be eligible for the previous month's prize structure. Fly fisherman who "weigh-in" fish are not eligible for prizes in this division, however are eligible to enter fish in the overall category or other applicable prize categories and may "DOUBLE DIP." Last year's top fly rod division striper caught by Harry Huelsbeck of Norfolk, VA measured 44 inches.

Military Division
Monthly Structure
The military division is open to retired, veteran, reserve and active duty military anglers. To qualify you must provide a form of identification verifying your armed forces service at weigh-in. Top anglers are also eligible to "DOUBLE DIP" in the overall monthly prize structure. Last year's top military division striper caught by Mark Lavoie of Virginia Beach, VA weighed in at 42lbs. 8ozs.
